The men’s 100m at the 1960 Rome Olympic Games was won by German sprinter Armin Hary in 10.2 seconds. With the Italian commentary and the dramatic music this is a wonderful way to watch the 100m final. See more on the History of the Olympics 100m sprint.

Some amateur film footage from the Winter Olympic Games in Squaw Valley in 1960. Not the original soundtrack (I don’t think Enya was around then), but great to see what the crowd would see. Not the fanfare that you will get these days.
