The new sport of Twoball was created by Dean Nava and his mate Rod, from Houston, Texas USA, in
May 1989. Twoball is a simple throw and catch game, that utilizes the throwing and catching of two balls at the same time. It just needs a few more rules to make it a sport you can play.
Equipment Required: two tennis balls
Description
A physics principle ensues when both balls are thrown together (properly) with one hand, thereby causing the balls to stay close together. In many cases the balls will actually be touching each other when they come down.
It is insanely fun, and can be used as a training aid for any 'one-ball' sport.
Alternatives
There are many ways to play, aside from just pitch and catch.
- numbers (how many in a row)
- whip them in fast
- Play with diving catches in water
- Twoball ultimate (as in ultimate Frisbee).
