Super Bowl 2001

The 2001 Super Bowl, officially known as Super Bowl XXXV, was played on January 28, 2001 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. This game saw the Baltimore Ravens defeat the New York Giants by a score of 34-7.

The Ravens won their first Super Bowl in franchise history, with a dominant performance from their defense, which held the Giants to just 7 points and forced five turnovers. Linebacker Ray Lewis was named MVP of the game after recording 3 tackles, 2 interceptions, and 4 passes defended. Baltimore's offense also played well, with quarterback Trent Dilfer managing the game effectively and running back Jamal Lewis rushing for 102 yards and a touchdown.
