Super Bowl 1981
The 1981 Super Bowl, officially known as Super Bowl XV, was played on January 25, 1981 at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. This game saw the Oakland Raiders defeat the Philadelphia Eagles by a score of 27-10. Oakland dominated the game, with quarterback Jim Plunkett throwing for 261 yards and three touchdowns to earn the MVP award.
The Raider's defense was also strong, holding the Eagles to just 10 points and forcing five turnovers. This was the second Super Bowl win for the Oakland Raiders.
