Super Bowl 1975
The 1975 Super Bowl, officially known as Super Bowl IX, was played on January 12, 1975 at Tulane Stadium in New Orleans, Louisiana. This game saw the Pittsburgh Steelers defeat the Minnesota Vikings by a score of 16-6.
Pittsburgh's defense dominated the game, holding the Vikings to just 6 points and forcing four turnovers. Steeler's running back Franco Harris was named the game's MVP for his performance, which included a touchdown and 158 yards rushing. This was the first Super Bowl win for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
