The 1970 Super Bowl, officially known as Super Bowl IV, was played on January 11, 1970 at Tulane Stadium in New Orleans, Louisiana. This game saw the Kansas City Chiefs, led by quarterback Len Dawson, defeat the Minnesota Vikings by a score of 23-7. The Chiefs dominated the game, with their defense holding the Vikings to just 7 points.

Dawson was named the game's MVP for his performance, which included a touchdown pass and two interceptions on defense. This was the first Super Bowl win for the Chiefs.
