Snowboarding (Para-snowboard) at the Winter Paralympic Games

In 2014, Para-snowboard was introduced to the Paralympic program as a discipline of alpine skiing, with the addition of men's and women's standing snowboard cross events. Snowboarding became a separate sports category for 2018.

For the Paralympic Games in 2022, para-snowboard features two disciplines; banked slalom and snowboard-cross. Para snowboard banked slalom was added to the program at PyeongChang 2018.

In the banked slalom event, athletes race on a U-shape course with banked turns with plenty of bumps and dips. In snowboard-cross, athletes race on a course with terrain features such as banks (berms), rollers, spines, jumps, wu-tang etc.
