---> The next Commonwealth Games are in Glasgow, Scotland in 2014

The information below is provided for those looking to buy tickets to Melbourne Commonwealth Games events.

Tickets for the Commonwealth Games start from just $15 and they include free public transport on the day of the event. Within Australia, there are five ways to purchase tickets:

Ticket Availability

Thousands of new tickets to high-demand events went on sale on 23 January. Unfortunately, due to very high demand, tickets to Diving, Swimming, Gymnastics and Track Cycling have already been sold out, but there are still plenty of previously unavailable tickets to Athletics, Basketball, Hockey and Shooting.

If you don't buy your ticket beforehand, if there are any left you can purchase a ticket to at the venues on the day of the event. The box office will open two hours prior to the event on the day.

If you live outside of Australia, tickets are still available for residents of all competing Commonwealth countries. You can apply for tickets through your local Commonwealth Games Association or an appointed sales agent. You can also purchase single sales online or purchase a ticket and accommodation package through the Commonwealth Games Travel Office.

Tickets can be purchased using Visa, MasterCard and Bankcard via the web or by calling 1300 00 2006. If you don't have a credit card, tickets can be purchased with a cash payment at any Ticketmaster outlet around Australia. There are no concession priced tickets - tickets for all people over the age of two are the same price. Children under two years old are admitted free if they remain seated on the lap of a ticket holder.
