Bianca Chatfield: Netball

Bianca Chatfield Lee Chatfield (born 2 April 1982) is an Australian netballer who established herself as one of the best ever to represent her country. Bianca Chatfield started playing netball at the age of 11 and has been representing Australia since she was 18 years old, being one of the youngest players to represent the country.



Greatest Sporting Achievements

Chatfield represented the Australia national team and won gold medals during the 2007 Netball World Championship and 2014 Commonwealth Games. She won four Commonwealth Bank Trophy Premierships with the Melbourne Phoenix from 2000 to 2005, leading the Melbourne Vixens to an ANZ title in 2014.

Bianca Chatfield is known to be a fearless defender with an imposing presence on the court. She was a naturally-born leader. In her years of experience, she developed into a tough, leaping defender who can excite the game and set to pounce when needed. It is simply enthralling to watch Bianca Chatfield gliding across the court with ease and snatching remarkable intercepts.
