World Moonrock Throwing Competition
In Hughenden, Queensland Australia, the annual World Moonrock Throwing Competition is held as part of the Richmond Fossil Festival. Hughenden is located halfway between Townsville and Mount Isa. There are separate competitions for men, women and children, in which they throw rocks of various weights. There are also other exciting things to do at the festival.
