Eating carrots makes you see better in the dark, true or false?

THIS IS SOMEWHAT TRUE

  • This is another one of those things you hear when you are growing up
  • Carrots are a great source of Vitamin A, which plays a vital role in eye health.
  • Vitamin A deficiency can lead to a whole host of vision problems including glaucoma, night blindness and short sightedness.
  • Many other fruits and vegetables are also good sources of Vitamin A, though carrots are the best source.
