Ghana at the Winter Olympic Games

Ghana appeared at the Winter Games just once, in Vancouver, Canada in 2014. They did not win a medal.

Ghana is not a country associated with winter sports. The nation's first ever participant at the Winter Olympics was Kwame Nkrumah-Acheampong in men's alpine skiing slalom event in 2010. He was nicknamed the 'Snow Leopard', and finished in 47th (2nd last) place.
