The British Virgin Islands is a UK overseas territory and lies roughly mid-way between Puerto Rico and the northern most of the Leeward Islands group in the Caribbean. It is an archipelago of over 40 islands, 16 of which are inhabited. To the east of the islands lies Anguilla. See map of the British Virgin islands.
