The Hong Kong Sports Institute
The Hong Kong Sports Institute (HKSI) is the government's agent responsible for providing a high quality training environment and support services for high performance athletes with the aim of grooming athletes to achieve good results at international sporting events.
The HKSI is an international renowned elite training base providing an environment in which high quality athletic talent can be identified, nurtured and developed.
The HKSI centre is located on 16 hectares of prime land on the banks of the Shing Mun River alongside Shatin Racecourse. It is the physical and technical center of Hong Kong's sporting excellence programs.

Facilities:
The HKSI Main Building includes an Athlete Hostel, Lecture Theatre, Meeting & Activity Rooms, Sports Residence.
The Sports Complex includes a Badminton Hall, Table Tennis Hall, Fencing Hall, Karatedo Hall, Squash Courts, Wushu Hall, Tenpin Bowling Centre & Billiard Sports Training Venue.
Other facilities include Tennis Courts (8 courts including 2 covered & 2 clay courts), Swimming Complex (52m International Standard Pool and 25m pool), a Rowing Centre and Athletics Track & Field
