Triathlon Major Events
There are many events in the international calendar for the sport of triathlon.
- Triathlon at the Olympics Games — was first contested at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
- World Triathlon Series (WTS) — involves eight competitions leading to a Grand Final Race. Throughout each event, triathletes are competing for points that are used to tally their total score and also to announce the WTS champion.
- Triathlon at the Commonwealth Games
- Paratriathlon at the Paralympics
