The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35.

- The Super Bowl XLIX in 2015 was also held at State Farm Stadium (which was then called the University of Phoenix Stadium). It will be the fourth time the Super Bowl has come to the city.
