NFL Flex Scheduling

Flex scheduling allows the NFL to move games between broadcast windows so the strongest matchups land in national slots. Sunday Night Football can be flexed from Week 5 onward, and Thursday and Monday night games can also be changed within defined windows.

How it works in 2026:

  • Weeks 5-10: Sunday night games can be flexed with 12 days notice
  • Weeks 11-17: notice drops to 6 days, giving the league more late flexibility
  • Week 18: the entire slate is scheduled after Week 17, split across Saturday, January 9 and Sunday, January 10 depending on playoff implications

Several games already carry provisional windows. Four Week 16 games on Sunday, December 27 and four Week 17 games on Sunday, January 3 have confirmed dates but times and networks still to be set. Every Week 18 game is listed as date and time TBD.

The 2026 NFL regular season begins Wednesday, September 9, when defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks host the New England Patriots at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC — a rematch of Super Bowl LX and the first Wednesday Kickoff Game in league history.

Below is the full NFL schedule from Week 1 to Week 18 with information on teams, dates, kickoff times, and TV networks. Game times may change due to flexible scheduling, with some game times still to be confirmed.
