Australian Handball

Australian Handball is a sport wherein players uses their hands to hit a ball against one or two walls. It is very similar to squash but without the racket. To play, first a player will do a serve, this is to hit the front wall without touching the ground. Secondly, the other player should hit the ball back before the ball touches the ground twice. Then the server will just do the same to continue the rally.

This sport started in Australia in the late 1800s and the first formal game was held in 1923. Since then, the game has evolved and is now very much played during schoolboys' competitions. The Australian Handball Council heads the official or national Australian handball games.
