Most Watched Winter Olympic Sports around the world 2014
The data presents responses to the question "Which Winter Olympic events will you watch?", from a survey of 1,500 people from selected countries around the world in February 2014, just prior to the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics.
The popularity of sports varies around the world, and for the sports of the Winter Olympics it is no exception. Results from the USA, freestyle skiing was the most popular Olympic sport among TV viewers in 2010, though ice hockey was the most discussed Olympic sport online. In the list below, of the nine countries surveyed, there were five different sports as the most popular.
