Can I purchase a cd version of the file?
We currently only the digital file version of the test (which you can download for free!). The file is in mp3 format, the common audio file format, which should play on most audio equipment. If you need to have a cd version, you should be easy to 'burn' a copy of this file onto a cd for playback on a cd player.
I don't have a PayPal account - can I pay using another method?
You don't have to have a PayPal account to make a purchase, you can use your credit card without signing up. However, if you like it is a simple process to sign up to PayPal and link your bank account. If you still have a problem purchasing through the PayPal cart link on this site, please contact us to discuss alternative arrangements.
Do you charge sales tax?
GST is applicable to all purchases made in Australia. No other sales taxes will be added.
What if I don't want it, or need a refund?
If you are unhappy with your purchase we are happy to organise a refund. Just let us know.
Will You Ship to ... ?
We can sell to anyone in the world. As the products are digital files, there is not shipping required. After payment, you will be directed to a site where you can immediately download the mp3 file of the test.
How much will shipping be?
There is no shipping costs, as you download the file directly to your computer.
Do you accept credit cards?
We currently accept the secure payment method PayPal. PayPal accepts all major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diner's Club and EnRoute.
Is the order process secure?
The checkout section of the store is handled by E-junkie, a well-established online purchasing platform. We currently accept the secure payment method PayPal, through which you can also using most major credit cards.
I can't open the file that I purchased
If the downloaded file is a zip file (with the extension .zip) you will need to uncompress the file before you can open it. Most computers will have an application that can do this. If you have downloaded to your mobile device, you may need to transfer the file to a computer to be able to do this. Once the files have been extracted from the zip file, you should be able to open them with the appropriate program. The .mp3 files can be played by most audio players, the .xls file needs Microsoft excel or another spreadsheet program, and .pdf files will need a pdf reader which can be downloaded for free. There may also be a fault with the file that occurred during the download. Try downloading the file again, possibly to a different computer. See more information about problems downloading the file.
Why don't I just download a free file online?
You may find the beep test file online, available to download for free, but are you sure you are getting the right version? We have created the beeptest files based on the timings published on this site. If you have any issues we can answer your questions and if you are unhappy with your purchase we are happy to organise a refund.
