The Alps-Adriatic Youth Games is a multi-sport event organized by the Alps Adriatic Alliance. The first summer Alps-Adriatic Youth Games, for the youth of Austria, Italy, Germany, Hungary and Yugoslavia were first held in Graz, Austria in 1984. The first Alps-Adriatic Youth winter games were held in 1982 in Auronzo, Italy.
After the first summer games were held in 1984, the games have alternated each year since then, with winter games in the odd years, summer games in the even years
