1904 Tour de France
The 1904 event was the second Tour de France event ever held. There has been controversy in the Tour even in the early days. The rider awarded first place was subsequently disqualified as he was found to have caught a train for part of the race.

- The youngest winner was Henri Cornet (France) in 1904 who was 20 years old at the time.
- The oldest Tour de France cyclist is Henri Paret, who was 50 years when he competed in 1904.
