Finalissima - Intercontinental Football Match

Men's Finalissima

The Men's Finalissima, previously known as the UEFA-Conmebol Cup of Champions, is an intercontinental football match organized jointly by UEFA (Union of European Football Associations) and CONMEBOL (South American Football Confederation), a match contested by the winners of the UEFA European Championship and the Copa América. It has been held three times, 1985, 1993, and 2022. The winners have been France, Argentina and Argentina respectively. It is planned to be played every four years.

Women's Finalissima

The Women's Finalissima is an intercontinental women's football super cup, the women's equivalent to the CONMEBOL–UEFA Cup of Champions. It is contested by the winners of the Copa América Femenina and UEFA Women's Championship. In 2023, the inaugural Women's Finalissima was played between England and Brazil at Wembley Stadium. England won 4–2 on penalties after the scores were tied at 1-1 at full-time. The Women's Finalissima will be played every four years.
