Australia is one of only two countries to have participated in every single modern Summer Olympic Games. They have hosted the Games twice, in Melbourne in 1956, and Sydney in 2000. At the Winter Olympics, Australia has an outstanding record out of the countries of the southern hemisphere. Relative to the country's population they have one of the best success rates. This is a record that is well worth the celebration with this web site.
