Exercise and Weight Loss Myth

You can lose and maintain weight without exercise - true or false?

THIS IS TRUE

  • Weight loss is about the difference between intake and output. As long as you are burning more calories then you are consuming, then you should be able to lose weight.

  • However, it will be easier to tip the scales in your favor by exercising, and you will also get the added benefit of improved fitness. Studies have also found that weight loss programs that include exercise are more successful in losing weight and keeping it off.
