Chin Up World Record

Matt Bogdanowicz from the USA sets a new World Record for the maximum number of pull ups (chin ups) in a minute, achieved on October 27th 2007. The record has since been broken by Jason Petzold.

    Those chin-ups qualify in the “kip up” category which is more technique than muscular endurance. I wonder how many non-kip (dead hang) that individual can do, especially if he truly had to raise his body above horizontal neck level. Not impressed!
