30-15 Intermittent Fitness Test (Interval Shuttle Run Test)

During the 30-15 Intermittent Fitness Test (and it's variant the Interval Shuttle Run Test (ISRT)), players alternately run 20-m shuttles for 30 seconds and walk for 15 seconds, with increasing speed. It is an intermittent version of the beep test. See more information on Beep Test variations and at the complete guide to the beep test.

A group of athletes doing the 30-15 Intermittent Fitness Test

This group of athletes are doing what they call the Interval Shuttle Run Test. The test looks like a variation of the beep test. Notice the markers a couple of meters before the turning line, which is used to indicate the area which they must be in when it beeps otherwise they get a failure warning.
