3goals1star
The new sport of 3goals1star was created by Julius Dominic Banda from Lusaka, Zambia in April, 2015. 3goals1star was inspired by penalty shootout in football. In this sport, participants play by throwing and kicking a soccer ball into a slot on a 3 Meters in diameter Giant Advertising Ball Device. This Giant Ball rotates at a slow speed in the right direction and pause for some minutes before alternating to the left direction. Participants are paired in 2 (can be both male, both female, or male and female), and score in, when the Giant Ball is motionless, move to the right and move to the left.
Equipment Required: A 3-Meters in diameter Giant Advertising Ball Device, uniform for each the pair, with a respective number corresponding to the number of a spot where to kick or throw from, and 10 balls all printed on with a number identical of that particular pair.
Description
All the paired players stand ready in their respective scoring spots (pre-marked 1 to 32 on the lawn dividing the circumference of measurement 10 Meters radius from the center point in equidistance).
The 3Goal1Star sport has three (3) playing levels:
LEVEL1:
(a) all players in their respective places throw to score at least 3 goals to gain a star out of the ten (10) balls allocated to a pair while the Giant Advertising Ball Device is motionless. Then go to
(b) all players in their respective places kick to score at least 3 goals to gain a star, (score 3 Goals to gain 1 Star out of the next ten(10) balls allocated to a pair) while the Giant Advertising Ball Device is paused. Accumulate at least total of 2 stars before qualifying to the next level.
LEVEL 2:
(a) all players in their respective places throw to score at least 3 goals to gain a star, (to gain 1 Star, a pair must score 3balls out of the ten(10) balls allocated to that particular pair) while the Giant Advertising Ball Device is rotating at a slow speed in the right direction. All balls must be thrown within the 5 minutes rotation time given. Then progress to
(b) all players in their respective places kick to score to gain at least 1 star, (score 3 Goals to gain 1 Star out of the ten(10) balls allocated to a pair) while the Giant Advertising Ball Device is rotating at a slow speed in the right direction. Accumulate at least 2 stars before qualifying to the next level.
LEVEL 3:
(a) all players in their respective places throw to score at least 3 goals to gain a star, (score 3 Goals to gain 1 Star out of the ten (10) balls allocated to a pair) while the Giant Advertising Ball Device is rotating at a slow speed in the left direction.
(b) all players in their respective places kick to score at least 3 goals to gain a star, (score 3 Goals to gain 1 Star out of the ten(10) balls allocated to a pair) while the Giant Advertising Ball Device is rotating at a slow speed in the left direction. Accumulate at least 2 stars to have total 6 stars to potentially win.
RULES
- To go to the next level, a pair must gain at least a star in (a) and (b) of a previous level.
- The winning pair must accumulate maximum of at least 6 stars in all the 3 levels.
- If none of the players manage a star (3goals) but gain 1 or 2 goals, then that level starts all over again.
- During the pulse periods, a referee checks the ball so far scored and the number to attribute to a particular pair.
- The primary aim of the sport, is to create fun, recreation, competition and identify talented shooters at the target as winners.
- To score by throwing and kicking into a slot made on one of the pentagons on the Giant Advertising Ball Device from a challenging distance of 7 meters away from the Giant Ball.
- The sport start with a maximum of 32 teams of 2 players per team and elimination of losing teams determined by scoring abilities to reveal a winning team with more stars.
- No substitutions are allowed once the registered teams go on the pitch and will play until the final whistle.
- This sport encourage all sexes to play.
- There are no height, weight, or age restrictions
- Throw and kick balls from a specific position 7 Meters away from the giant advertising ball device
- You score by throwing and kicking into a goal-slot on the 3Meters in diameter giant advertising ball device. You win by accumulating many thrown-ins and kicked-ins that translates into stars. (3goals equals 1star) when you have more stars than the other teams then you and your mate are winners.
- 5 minutes to play any category plus 5 minutes of change to the next category.
- 6 time periods of 5 minutes each, with breaks allowed, of 5 minutes in each break to check how many have scored.
- Play can go into extra time if there is a tie in stars and goals managed prominent pairs.
- The pair can discuss between each other to who should take the throw-in or kick-in, one at a time can shoot as the opening on the Giant Ball comes his way. No player is allowed to shoot inside the circumference line
- 3 referees manage the sport, to see to it that each pair plays according to the set rules, one is a head-referee who blow a whistle for any action to be performed and one to check the balls scored and the last one to record stars and goals accumulated and give the head referee data on which pairs proceed to next level.
- The playing field is a circumference of 10 Meters radius from center point. This circumference is divided into 32 equidistance as spots to shoot from.
- The 3 Meters Giant Advertising Ball Device that has a slot on one of the pentagon measuring 75cm diameter and at a height of 200cm from the ground, 320 balls, 10 balls for each pair of size5 and light weight.
