Disc Golf

Disc golf is a type of flying disc game, which is also sometimes called frolf or Frisbee golf. The game is very similar to the game of golf, though instead of hitting a ball towards a hole, a flying disc is thrown towards a basket. The main objective of the game is to traverse a course from start to end with the fewest number of throws of the disc.

The disc golf course is made up of multiple holes, usually 9 or 18. The scoring system is similar to standard golf, each hole has a assigned par score.

The play begins with each player throwing from a designated area towards each hole. There should be one foot in contact with the tee at the time of release.

Subsequent throws are taken from where the disc lands, until the disc is thrown into the basket. The target basket is made up of chains hanging above a basket. Players aim to hit the chains, and the disc falls into the basket to finish the hole.

There is a range of different discs used to suit different throwing styles, and selected based on the distance and accuracy required.
