One of the great Olympic champions of the past. Nadia trained as a gymnast since age 6. At the Montreal Olympics she was only 14 years old. During the team conmpetition she made history by being the first gymnast to receive perfect scores of 10 for her performances in the uneven bars and on the alance beam. Overall she gained seven 10s in the competition. Four years later, at the Moscow Olympics she again was looking to win gold but just missed out to place second. |
