He has had well documented use of sport medical personnel to fix up his back and shoulder problems, has utilized the best coaches and coaching techniques, studied his swing biomechanically, trained well and kept himself in good shape, tried (succeeded?) preparing psychologically for the pressure situations of international golf, and he has marketed himself to a huge level which has complemented his development as a golfer.
