Comments:

The following are some comments from voters in the poll.

The winners of this poll were race car drivers, although some heated debate was raised in the comments. Some equally strong arguments for each side of the question were presented. A selection of the comments from voters on the poll are listed below.

  • Golfers rarely walk the course or carry their own clubs
  • Lets see here, we are talking about an elite golfer; an elite golfer at the same age as the average race car driver's age; no brainer, the elite golfer
  • I think what we have here is a poll in which Rednecks are the majority.
  • I've driven far distances before (Ohio to Florida & back), I don't see how driving a race car could be as physically demanding as an elite golfer.
  • All racers do is sit in a car all day. At least golfers are outside, walking around and doing something constructive.
  • Racers today, golfers in four more years, we see now how they benefit more
  • Sure golf is demanding with torque on your body slinging those clubs but in retrospect a driver of a race car is turning G forces as he travels through
  • race car drivers are just sitting there driving, they are doing nothing else!!!
  • racing car driving has a big effect on your mind and concentration because you have life at steak
  • Golfers are fat and lazy
  • I have read somewhere that a race car driver's heart rate is around 180 bpm for most of the race. Tell me it's like that playing golf!
  • I think racing car drivers make more aggressive moves in what they do
  • Look at the size of Craig Stadler, he is a fat bastard
