Wheat Grass Shots

Are these juices any good?

A shot a wheatgrass juice is becoming a popular drink in Australia and possibly around the world. It may not taste very good, though if you believe the hype that the sellers claim about it's properties and benefits, it is worth it.

However, research has shown that there is little evidence to support the claims. There is inconclusive evidence that wheatgrass could prevent cancer, and no evidence that it could cure it.

A shot of wheatgrass juice does have some nutritional value, though not the equivalent of 1 kg of fresh vegetables as is sometimes claimed. In fact, about 30 grams of cooked spinach and broccoli contain more vitamins and minerals that a shot of wheatgrass.
