Morocco at the Winter Olympics

Morocco joined the Winter Olympic Games in Grenoble, France in 1968, though has missed many editions of the Winter Games since then.

The nation which is also dubbed as the “Red City” has won many medals in athletics and boxing at the Summer Olympics, but it is yearning for its first ever medal at the Winter Games.

The nation fielded Adam Lamhamedi and Kenza Tazi at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games that saw action in alpine skiing.¬†However, the competitors didn’t make it onto the medal podium.
