Malaysia made their debut at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics in South Korea. They were represented by two athletes: alpine skier Jeffrey Webb who was born in Kuala Lumpur but moved to the USA when he was five, and Julian Zhi-jie Yee competed in men's figure skating.
