Serena Williams has become the first unseeded player in 29 years to win the Australian Open 2007 women's final, beating Russian No.1 seed Maria Sharapova.
The world's leading doubles combination Bob and Mike Bryan, claimed their second Australian Open crown, beating Max Mirnyi and Jonas Bjorkman 7-5 7-5.
Winners of the mixed doubles evet were Daniel Nestor and Elena Likhovtseva, who were runners up in 2006.
Australian Brydan Klein became the first local in 13 years to win the boys' singles title.
