The 42nd Super Bowl in 2008 was held at Glendale, Arizona on February 3rd, 2008. The game was played at the University of Phoenix Stadium.
This relatively low scoring game was won in the last quarter by New York Giants in a big upset, 17-14 over the Patriots. The MVP award was given to Eli Manning (see all MVP winners)
The next Super Bowl in 2009 was held in Tampa, Florida.
