17-Man Naval Rowing Boats
In 1906 at the unofficial Olympic Games, the Intercalated Games, there were a few of the more unusual rowing events, including the 17-Man Naval Rowing Boats. These may also been called Man-of-War boats. The event was raced over 3,000 meters. First and second places were taken by teams from Greece, with Italy third.
